What is a domain account, or what is domain account login
information? |
The domain account is the account
that grants you access to primary Stritch computer resources.
Specifically, your domain account information specifically
grants you:
- the ability to log in to
Stritch email (if you are a current active student,
staff, or faculty member; alumni do not have access to
Stritch email).
- the ability to log in to
My Stritch.
- the ability to log on to the
computers on the main campus.
Your domain account login
information consists of a username and password that you enter
when you attempt to access one of the above listed resources. |

I'm a new student. How do I create an account or how do I get my
domain account login information? |
Accounts for new students are automatically generated. A letter
with your domain account information is printed up and mailed to
the home address you have on file with the university. Normally
this can take up to a week after your start of classes. However
if you are a College of Business student it may take up to 2-3
weeks after your class start depending on when COB provided your
information to the folks in charge of account creation. If
you are a new student and it has been longer than the prescribed
times please refer to the section below on lost or forgotten login
information. |
|
I'm a new employee of the university. How do I get my domain
account login information? |
Account information for a new
employee is provided at your employee orientation. |
|
I'm a current student/faculty/staff who has lost or
forgotten his/her login information. How can I get that
information? |
We can offer you two options to get
your account information:
- Stop by the Computer Support
offices, located at the main campus, during regular business hours (Mon.-Fri. 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM during the school year, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM during summer and winter breaks).
You will need to bring a current Stritch ID card with you, and a photo ID if
your Stritch ID does not have a photo on it.
- Visit our online account information tool, located at
http://account.stritch.edu/. You will need your
Stritch ID number to complete this tool. If you do not have your Stritch ID number you should
contact your Academic Advisor if you are a student, or Human Resources if you are an employee.
